128 Bit Encryption -How safe is my information?

We use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Rijndael encryption algorithm to secure your private information so that no one but you can access it. It has been estimated that using the latest computing technology, it would take an expert up to 40 trillion years to decrypt your information. The US Government and Department of Defense believe that the Rijndael encryption algorithm will keep information safe from hackers until at least year 2100. Rijndael is a block cipher (symmetric key) encryption algorithm that uses 128-bit key sizes. This algorithm was selected (10/02/2000) by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as the new Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) for encryption. Effective 12/04/2001, Rijndael replaced DES as the new FIPs standard.
